The character posters have arrived for the unnecessary sequel to Snow White and The Huntsman, The Huntsman: Winter's War. Obviously Charlize Theron looks fierce as Queen Ravenna. It makes sense that she’s coming back, since she basically carried the first movie. Although I’m curious as to why Jessica Chastain looks like Hawkeye from The Avengers.

Lainey Gossip pointed out that Emily Blunt looks like Queen Elsa from Frozen. I mean, I know she’s the Ice Queen, but surely we can do better than copying the most overrated movie of 2013.

There’s still no trailer or plot, but I can guess that Chris Hemsworth will basically be playing Thor, only this time he’s carrying an axe instead of a hammer.

See? Character development.

I’m still not sure why Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses have signed up for this movie that no one asked for. What’s the point if there’s no Snow White? I’ll be interested in how they address that elephant in the room.

The first one was stylish, with amazing special effects, but suffered from a weak script. There’s potential for a major upgrade, but Chris Hemsworth isn’t leading man material to me. He just doesn’t have the charisma.
