Mary Kate Olsen, 29 married 46-year-old French banker, Olivier Sarkozy in an “intimate Manhattan ceremony on Friday night”, according to Page Six. “Intimate” might be code word for “claustrophobic”, because the reception was held indoors, where guests were smoking sh-t loads.

The source said there were “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.”

This is so French. It’s almost more French than President François Hollande eating croissants with his mistress before riding off on a scooter.

The French, famous for their ennui, are obviously so over it, they can’t stop smoking for five minutes at a wedding.

While all us wussy Americans have been vaping, the French have been keeping it real.

In other news, do you think Olsen will publish her wedding pictures in Vogue? She is big in fashion, so it would make sense. I know it’s not for everyone, but I love her bag lady style.
