All the headlines are already gleefully compare Clare Danes to a modern day Cinderella. Yeah, okay. But does it have to be in that shade of blue?

I wasn’t that impressed by her Zac Posen gown as she was swanning up the stairs, but it looks incredible in the dark. Kind of like Katy Perry’s light-up dress in 2010 but not sh-t. It’s a clever take on the Manus x Machina theme, combining tradition with technology. I’m sure it would’ve looked even better in person.

But does looking like a Disney parade float give her a pass for looking boring on the red carpet?
